ED releases 'Management Ke Sabaq' book
Bhopal, October 6 (Pervez Bari): R. K. Singh, Executive Director, BHEL, Bhopal
unit released the book titled “Management Ke Sabaq" written by S N Roy,
Ex-Executive Director of BHEL, Bhopal unit In a simple programme held at BHEL
Sanchi Guest House the other day.
Releasing the latest book by the author, Singh said that Roy is real Management
"Guru" (expert) and has proved whatever he has written in the book. After taking
over the Bhopal Unit as its ED, Roy led the unit into a new direction. The unit
since then has not only established new benchmarks in the field of turn-over,
but on all fronts. He simplified the processes and established direct
communication with the employees at all levels. Articles and books specially
“Wide Angle”, “ Take or Leave it “, “Prabandhan Ke Nuskhe” etc. have been very
popular among the readers and helped them to understand Management principles in
a very simple way. His books reflect the unique experiences of shop floor, day
to day happenings in life enriched with principles of Management.
Roy while throwing light on his latest book said that the book will help the
readers to solve many of the problems related to management through small
incidents from their day to day life. He said that one must think for high
objects and not those which are easily available.
Citing the examples of fruits available on the lower branches of a tree, Roy
said that one must try for the fruits on the top branches because getting those
fruits give immense pleasure.
During his interaction with the top executives, he said that BHEL, Bhopal has
seen many ups and downs and has tremendous capacity which will take the
organization to the front line of global companies.
