Inaugurates Customer Web Page at BHEL Bhopal Unit
Bhopal, May 11 (Pervez Bari): M. C. Pant, Executive Director RDSO, in
a simple function organized at Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited, (BHEL),
Bhopal unit inaugurated Customer web page which addresses the
requirements the customer in terms of Maintenance manuals, Service
bulletin, Fault tree, and status of major orders & other areas of
customer interest.
The transportation group of BHEL, Bhopal unit has taken this new
initiative towards building partnership and collaborative working with
customer. On this occasion, an expert lecture on "Role of Adhesion in
Transportation" was also delivered by Pant.
Sukul Lomash, GM (TPTN & CET) in his address stressed on the need to
excel business growth by exploiting market business potential through
customer focus by rendering quality, services, upgradation of
technology and optimizing design. The expert lecture session was
preceded by the first Product Business Excellence Council meeting of
TPTN group for 2008-09.
During this session Lomash shared his views and the observations of
recent top management business excellence workshop held on May 1,
2008. He stressed on the importance of Daily Works Management and
visualization of all the key indicators for achieving excellence. He
also deliberated on the critical areas, challenges and thrust areas to
meet production target for the current financial year.
K. Purswani, AGM/BEX lauded the level of participation and also
appreciated the structured way in which the PBC meeting was held. The
program was conducted by A. K. Sharma, AGM/TXS and vote of thanks was

Award
worth Rs. 51,000 for contribution to Malwa's culture, literature &
arts declared
Bhopal, May 10 (Pervez
Bari): Madhya Pradesh Shivraj Singh Chouhan has announced to give
award worth Rs.51,000 for the person making distinguished
contribution to Malwa's art, literature and culture.
Chouhan made this announcement while inaugurating five-day Malwa
Utsav by Lok Sanskriti Manch at Indore. As many as 450 craftsmen
from all over India are displaying pieces of their arts and crafts
at this fair. Besides, folk artistes from 12 states would come out
with their enchanting performances.
While addressing the function, Chouhan said that Malwa has carved
out a its distinctive niche in every sector. It has given towering
personalities in every field. The Malwa Utasav is being organised
to honour artistes. Every possible assistance would be given for
promotion of arts and culture.
Those present at the inaugural function included Public Works
Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya, Indore Mayor Dr Umashish Sharma,
Chairman of Khadi Evam Gramodyog Board Satyanarayan Sattan,
Chairman of Indore Development Authority Madhu Verma and people's
